About us

Los Nidos de David (David's Nests) was founded about three years ago, stemming from David's lifelong passion for animals, and birds in particular. He had been building nest boxes informally for over 14 years, but it wasn't until five years ago, coinciding with a layoff at his previous job, that he decided to go professional.

What is our mission?

Los Nidos de David (David's Nests) was created with the aim of helping different species of birds and insects survive and promoting biodiversity through the construction and placement of nest boxes, insect hotels, feeders, and more. By placing nest boxes, feeders, insect hotels, and more, we help the wildlife in our environment more easily find holes and suitable places to shelter, increasing their chances of survival. We also encourage the permanent presence of insectivorous birds, bats, and raptors, aiding in biological pest control.

What are our values?

Our values as a company are aligned with our own values as people: respect for nature and animals. Therefore, our parallel project is our Association El Reino de Taron, through which we dedicate ourselves to rescuing and helping animals of all species (cats, birds, reptiles, etc.).

What is Los Nidos de David (David's Nests) like now?

Today, Los Nidos de David isn't exactly what it was originally. We're still doing the same things we did at the beginning, but since the arrival of our second team member, Sara, we decided to expand our reach and expand our reach to a different audience. We've maintained our core values, and that's why, when we started making rabbit cages, we decided to donate a portion of the profits to animal welfare organizations.
