This facade-model bat house is specifically designed for tree-dwelling or crevice-dwelling species, such as the Pipistrellus, which use it during their breeding season. Its structure allows for installation on facades, under eaves, roofs, or balconies, offering a safe and suitable shelter that promotes the conservation of these highly beneficial species.
Bats, or chiropterans, are small mammals essential for ecological balance, especially in Europe, where they act as natural pest controllers by primarily feeding on insects. A single bat can consume over 2000 mosquitoes in one night, significantly contributing to the reduction of these insects in its environment.
