Observation hive for honeybees

This Langstroth observation beehive for honey bees consists of two main components: a brood box divided into two levels, each with capacity for three frames, and a top cover. It allows for the incorporation of an additional super.

It is made of 15 mm plywood, with vents located at the base and the top for proper ventilation. The base includes a sanitary tray that facilitates cleaning and maintenance.

Polycarbonate windows on the front and back panels offer a clear view from both sides, facilitating the monitoring of colony development, cell construction, queen laying, larval growth, and the emergence of new bees.

Its use is recommended indoors or in protected spaces to prevent weather damage.

This design is especially suitable for educational programs and beekeeping training.
