Double nest box for sparrows

Sparrows are facing a significant global population decline, primarily due to the use of pesticides, plant protection products, and the reduction of natural spaces in urban areas. The scarcity of cavities in trees and facades limits their nesting sites.

To support their reproduction, installing nest boxes is an effective solution. Since sparrows tend to form colonies, grouped nest boxes are more popular than individual ones. Therefore, we designed a box that integrates multiple nest boxes into a single module, adapting to this social behavior.

This cage features two separate internal compartments, each with its own entrance for birds. We offer two configurations:

• Symmetrical , where the access holes are located at opposite lateral ends, with doors aligned with these points;
• Asymmetrical , featuring a hole at one end and another at the front, with a side door corresponding to each entrance, located on opposite sides of the box.
